Full Story
Manuela Arcuri, the well-known carabiniera, has adopted a single lifestyle over the past year, preferring solitude to unsuitable company. Speaking candidly to Novella Duemila, she expressed her concerns about being alone for an extended period, stating, “The thing that truly frightens me is being by myself. I wasn’t prepared to experience such a long time as single.”
These days, the actress spends her time surrounded by close friends and family, but is primarily seen alongside her brother, Sergio, with whom she plans to share a home. Despite occasional rumors of fleeting romances, Arcuri has not substantiated these claims and appears resigned to her current circumstances. “The relentless pursuit of true love, of a prince charming, is futile,” she remarked. “You may not find him, even if you’ve dreamed of it since childhood.” She emphasizes focusing on her career and family instead: “I no longer wish to waste my time or energy on a relationship that lacks meaning. For love to be worthwhile, it needs to be genuinely significant—I have grown wiser in this regard.”
Regarding her past relationships, Arcuri notes that Aldo Montano is now happily in a relationship with Antonella Mosetti and that their chapter is conclusively over. “I don’t know why he said that and I am not concerned. I believe our relationship was the most beautiful I’ve experienced, and I regret how it ended abruptly. We couldn’t nurture our feelings over time,” she reflected.
On the other hand, her friendship with Francesco Coco remains intact. She noted, “We were too young to build a solid and meaningful relationship. We both faced an overwhelming feeling at 26 that we had never encountered before—it left us both astonished.”
Currently, Arcuri can only play the part of a bride on television, as filming has commenced for the drama “Io non dimentico,” where she will wear a wedding dress and tie the knot with Sergio Muniz. One can only wonder if a new romance might blossom on set.
The opportunity remains open for admirers—will they step forward?
