Annabelle Davis recently shared a heartwarming photo with her boyfriend, Charlie, illuminating their affectionate relationship. The 28-year-old actress, known as the daughter of renowned actor Warwick Davis, has been in a relationship with Charlie since 2021 and occasionally offers her followers glimpses into their love life. In a new Instagram post, the pair can be seen lovingly gazing at each other, with Annabelle placing her hand on Charlie’s knee.
In the snapshot, Annabelle is dressed elegantly in a pink floral dress paired with nude patent heels, while Charlie looks sophisticated in a navy suit and pink paisley tie. Charlie, who works as a photographer and music producer, shares a creative bond with Annabelle, reinforcing their connection.
The couple enjoys caravanning, which they see as an opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and foster their artistic sides. Annabelle told Sunbox Campers about her fondness for caravanning, recalling, “Growing up my parents and I were away all the time camping and caravanning… Having grown up with that, it’s made me want to go traveling myself.”
This new post comes after Warwick Davis shared personal news about finding love after the passing of his wife, Samantha, who died at 53 due to complications from surgery. In February, he disclosed that he had met someone he referred to as “Sponge,” a moment he incorporated into his emotional BAFTAs acceptance speech where he expressed gratitude for rediscovering joy and love.
When pressed about “Sponge” on The Jonathan Ross Show, Warwick humorously linked her to the Harry Potter series, saying, “I can reveal, sticking with the Harry Potter theme, Sponge is indeed She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.” He also compared her to Daisy May Cooper’s character, Kerry, from the comedy series This Country.
Warwick’s poignant speech at the BAFTAs, wherein he paid tribute to his late wife, resonated deeply with the audience. He reflected on Samantha’s unwavering support throughout his career, saying, “The business is difficult, and you’ve got to have someone who is very supportive of you being away on occasions and working ridiculous hours.”
Following Samantha’s death, there has been an ongoing investigation regarding the circumstances surrounding her passing. Warwick’s legal team is examining whether medical negligence played a role in her death after surgery to alleviate compression on her spine. A coroner’s report determined that she succumbed to arrhythmic cardiac arrest, linked to surgical complications and her achondroplasia condition. Despite a positive recovery outlook, she went into cardiac arrest shortly after being moved from surgery.
Warwick and Samantha met on the set of the 1988 fantasy film Willow, where he portrayed the lead role. They married in 1991 and had two children, Annabelle and Harrison, alongside another child who tragically passed away shortly after birth. Warwick, famed for his role as an Ewok in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, also reprised his role as Willow in a 2022 Disney+ series and starred as Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter films. He and Samantha co-founded Little People UK in 2012, supporting individuals with dwarfism and their families. Both Warwick and Samantha were diagnosed with forms of dwarfism in their youth, shaping their personal and professional lives.
