Excitement is building as the Sachsenring prepares to celebrate its centenary in 2027, with the MotoGP set to play a significant role in the festivities. Following the Grand Prix, ticket sales for the following year’s event will commence at 16:00. Attendees can purchase tickets online or from the main entrance at Goldbachstraße.
Maintaining affordability for fans, a three-day standing ticket will still be available for €99. Those looking to experience the MotoGP for the first time can opt for the “Friday-for-All” ticket, providing access to all grandstands on Friday for just €50. Ticket prices in most categories will largely remain stable, offering a reassuring message to fans amidst rising costs.
The Sachsenring is committed to its family-friendly ethos, allowing free entry for children under 14 when accompanied by an adult. This approach ensures that attending the MotoGP weekend remains accessible, despite increasing expenses.
ADAC Sports President Dr. Gerd Ennser expressed anticipation for the upcoming anniversary, stating, “We look forward to welcoming our visitors to the grand 100-year celebration of the Sachsenring next year. The fans make the only MotoGP stop in Germany so unique. In preparation for the expected surge in visitors, the event organisers plan to expand the popular T1 and T6 grandstands, adding over 1,500 additional seats. Early bookings will not only secure preferred locations but will also benefit from advance purchase rates.
In celebration of the milestone, special edition tickets featuring unique designs will be available, with the option to purchase them in the popular plastic card format. Additionally, starting Sunday, a limited merchandise collection themed “100 Years of Sachsenring” will be launched.
Beyond the races, the event promises a wealth of experiences for fans surrounding the celebrations. The organisers have announced plans to bring numerous motorcycle legends from both the past and present to the prestigious track in Hohenstein-Ernstthal.
