Full Story
A bizarre skiing incident in Vail, Colorado, left a man hanging upside down from a ski lift for approximately 15 minutes, with his trousers completely down. The unusual event occurred at the popular ski destination when the man, who had just boarded the Blue Sky Basin lift, lost his balance, reportedly due to a fault with the seat.
As he slipped from the chair, he fell into a perilous position, hanging headfirst. Fortunately for him, one of his skis became lodged in the lift mechanism, preventing his fall to the ground. However, this mishap caused both his ski pants and undergarments to come undone, leaving him exposed during his precarious hang.
Rescue personnel faced challenges in accessing the chairlift to assist the hung skier. For a prolonged period, he was left vulnerable to the cold temperatures, as well as the amused spectators on the slope below, many of whom documented the moment with photographs that later appeared on the gossip site, The Smoking Gun.
