Full Story
In the latest episode of his BBC Three series, “Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury,” Tommy Fury has shared insights into his parenting dynamic with Molly-Mae Hague, particularly in light of their recent separation. The couple, who share a two-year-old daughter, Bambi, navigate co-parenting challenges while living apart.
Fury, a former participant on “Love Island,” detailed his contrasting parenting style to Hague’s during the show’s second episode. He stated that Bambi “knows she can’t get away” with behavior when she is with her mother. The boxer, aged 26, acknowledged that the transition to co-parenting has been “tricky,” especially since Molly-Mae, also 26, has moved out of their shared home.
Amidst scenes depicting Bambi’s stay at his residence, Tommy expressed the complexities of their situation: “When Bambi’s here, it’s all me, and when she’s there, it’s all her.” He added, “I’m wrapped around her little finger ten times over. I would do anything for her. But with Molly, she knows she can’t get away with it. With me, she definitely can. She can get away with murder.”
Molly-Mae has recently highlighted her struggles with parenting, indicating that Bambi is currently “testing boundaries.” In a vlog shared last month, she expressed her frustration, saying, “I feel like I need to keep my camera running all day… it’s like every single thing is a huge problem.” She was visibly emotional, revealing that even simple tasks like getting dressed can result in difficulties.
In addressing perceptions of her parenting, Molly-Mae responded to criticisms of being “out of touch” by asserting her right to speak candidly about her experiences: “I don’t care who tells me I’m out of touch with reality… I’m not gonna not talk about it.”
Looking ahead, Tommy expressed hope for a future reconciliation with Molly-Mae and a return to a family life together. He shared, “You just dream of one day, y’know, them coming back and the house to be filled with joy again. I hope that one day everything can sort itself out and we can live here as a family again.”
The first episode of the series also touched upon their separation, with Tommy dispelling rumors of infidelity. He attributed the end of their relationship to struggles with alcohol, admitting he had been drinking heavily due to an injury. He further recounted the moment Molly-Mae and Bambi left, describing how he was “drunk” and did not fully grasp the situation at the time, which deepened his distress.
“Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury” airs on BBC Three and is available for streaming on BBC iPlayer, with the current series continuing next Tuesday at 9pm.
