Aviva Investors has appointed David Thomas as its Global Head of Insurance, a newly established role aimed at enhancing the company’s global insurance operations. In this capacity, Thomas will be part of the leadership team focusing on the strategic growth and development of their worldwide insurance offerings.
Before joining Aviva, Thomas held the position of Head of UK & Ireland Insurance Business Development at Schroders, where he focused on fostering and maintaining relationships with insurance clients. He brings a wealth of experience, having spent nearly 15 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in various roles, including institutional sales, middle office operations, and general operations.
